While noa’s mother was visiting us this summer after NYC, we decided one day to go visit the Van Dusen Garden’s here in vancouver. we practically live next door to them, but have never went in. anyways, it was a semi nice warm day, and off we went to go explore all the plants. Botanical Garden in Israel

So while in Israel this time, we went to a botanical garden. i was super excited going there, as they were supposed to have lots of orchids and other stuff. The place was a little run down once we finally went inside, but it was still pretty cool. they essentially had some big grounds with different botanical areas, and a large covered hall. so, lets see what they had…. birds of paradise! always wonderful and lets go with the orchids this indoor paradise was huge!…

passion fruits are here

So, one of the first things i had to do when i got to israel is to check my passion fruit bushes. I helped plant one of them last year when i was here, so that they would pollinate and we would get fruits. wow, what a year has supplied. they were left untended for 2 months, and there were hundreds of passionfruits laying around on the ground. i would say about 25% of them were perhaps still good, so noa took the fruit out…
