an HDR of dan and the brewery
some vancouver views
for the first time ever, i visited queen e park in vancouver one evening.
well, let me tell you. theres some nice views from up there. i sorta wish there werent as many trees, but still, i got some nice hdr opportunities while i was there.
anyways, thought i would post these. ill have to get up there for a sunset one evening.
Israel roundup
i have been brow beat and berated from all sides, and have finally submitted. i actually uploaded these a week ago, and never got around to posting them. so, without much further ado, voila!
where to start. well, as soon as i could, i hit up our favorite juice stand!
now, we were there for the holidays, and therefore did typical holiday stuff. like go shopping! we went to this market in ramla, i believe its spelt, and first off hit noa’s favorite falafel store
being well fed, onwards to buying more food.
some pumpkins/squash type things. they were huge
and an interesting character that wanted his photo taken
having finished the shopping, the next day was the holiday, and we set up to eat outside
there’s such a nice view of the sunset from their patio. here are a few more pictures taken over the week i was there from various parts of the house. some /most are hdr’s
i also took pictures of the house
and, now, lastly, amos took me to the Israeli air force museum.
it reminded me somewhat of the mothballed airplanes in Tuscon, at the graveyard they have there. except here you can walk around amongst the planes.
looking over most of the planes
there were a lot of f4 phantoms
one of my favorites, the spitfire
god, wouldn’t it be cool to have one of these in BC?
me sitting in an old piper cub
i got a few more pictures from the air force museum up in my flickr set.
overall, it was a really nice trip. a long way to travel for just a week there, but it was worth it. it was mostly filled with family time, which was nice. as one expects from the holidays.
