hmm, i missed the boat on that, my last post about israel was the 300th post. what the hell have i been rambling on about over the last 4 and some years. i guess i started blogging at the end of june, 2006. i guess i wanted a place to talk about our travels we were about to make to israel and europe after graduating.
ive managed to keep with it most months i think, there were a few where the postings were pretty sparse.
anyways, lets hope i continue to keep this up!

Hmm, you all may have thought im slacking off on a beach somewhere not posting. well, you would be correct, in a way.
i think we’ve been to the beach 4 times now for a few hours. pretty damn relaxing. and the water is so nice and warm. one day i was able to do a little body surfing, but still nothing like rio.
anyways, the other major consumption of our time has been visiting relatives, and eating food. and travelling back and forth between karme yosef where noa’s parents live and tel aviv.

ive had a very interesting day today, which will be coming soon i hope.
tomorrow is the holiday though, so much preparation and feasting to be done. then its thursday, and friday morning im off back to vancouver. bah!
So, one of the first things i had to do when i got to israel is to check my passion fruit bushes. I helped plant one of them last year when i was here, so that they would pollinate and we would get fruits.
wow, what a year has supplied. they were left untended for 2 months, and there were hundreds of passionfruits laying around on the ground. i would say about 25% of them were perhaps still good, so noa took the fruit out of the shells and froze it, and saved the rest for me to eat.
and the other side
it really is a big plant. the isreali climate is pretty much ideal for them.
