LONDON…again! (by bus)

Our second to last day in england, was a monday, and noa and i went into london again.  this time we were going to take one of those red double decker busses, and, well, be touristy.   is that a word?

PB132608anywho…  we saw things like, Big Ben, and the royal palace and such.  it was freezing cold on the top of the bus though (we had to sit on the upper deck to see better!) and it even rained on us a little bit.  fun stuff.  We got of at Trafalger square, and walked around a bit, heading thru the theatre show towards picadilly circus to meet a firend of noa’s from high school.  had really good fish and chips for lunch with him.

Anyways, here are 2 pictures of noa and i at trafalger square.  im just not as fun in pictures as noa is.

Overall, we had another good day in london, and we returned to brighton in the evening with giac.  But before we did, we hit up the tate museum, which is a totally free museum.  they had this awsome exhibit, which were 4 metal slides, which you could ….  SLIDE DOWN!  i wrote something about them before.  i got one picture of the shortest one here.  it was dark inside, so i couldnt get any better pictures of it.  :(

This is the shortest of the slides, the others were 4 stories tall.

Life in Brighton….

PB112312Ahhhh, Brighton. were the fast paced london worker lives life in the slow lane. Brighton really is a really nice place to live. Giac and i woke up early both mornings we were there, and took allessandro on a walk on the boardwalk. it was really great.

PB112334in the morning, there would be no one out on the beach, with the cold morning air blowing in, and just us walking around on the beach, ohh, and the crazy local surfers. The boardwalk along the beach is really nice, and you can walk up and down it for a really really long time. we would walk from giac’s house to the pier with the amusment park and arcades. on the sunday i was there, we even stoped one morning and had a wonderful english breakfeast, in the freezing wind while alessandro ran around us,

being italian, the food we had at giacomos was wonderful! we had pasta one night, homemade pizza, and some other rice thing which i forget the name of. but anyways, it was awsome food, and i recommend staying over if you ever get the chance.

PB112432We also visited a really really cool aquarium. yeah, it was nothing huge with whales and stuff, but look at this picture, the inside of the aquarium really had some charachter to it. i really enjoyed it, and they had some cool turtles, and a great underwater tunnel. at the end, giac and i decided to dress up. ARRRRRR!PB112456

The pier was really cool too. originally we tried to visit them 2 times, once we went to early, and the second time we came to late, and everything was closed. finally, noa, giac and i made it while everything was open, and we went on the bumper cars. good fun. i got some nice pictures of the city from the pier, just as the sun was going down. i think my favorite of all though is this one of the carrousel.

Back to Amsterdam!

Well Well well. i left you last saying i was heading to france. well, thats what i did indeed do. the only problem was, the city i went too, there is no internet cafe, and my god mother has no internet! so.. this left the blog with no update for the last 5 days.

so, i have some catching up to do. im back to amsterdam, with my wireless router. i really do find it hard to go by without the internet. i mean, not that i wasnt busy, its just nice to be able to search for anything you want to, and to check your e-mail, when you want.

i took a thousands of pictures, and ill get them uploaded soon. i may or may not go to brussels tomorrow, i still need to talk to my friends about it, and its sorta late now.

ill see.
