went flying with my friend dave this weekend. he flew his heli, and i did a short flight with the piper cub. he got it on video. wasnt very exciting, a small park, so i was kinda scared of doing anything, and it was pretty windy higher up. did a bomb drob just to test it out. The first flight was with a dead battery, so i landed fast, the second flight was better, and had a great landing.

i read a review this week of a website called daily lit, and became intrigued. what it offers you is to send books to you either to your e-mail or RSS reader, in short 5 min segments. you dont even have to buy the book or anything. all i did was sign up, select the book, put the feed into my RSS reader(see how here), and bam, im reading 5 min or War and Peace every day! always wanted to read it, and heres my change. i think its going to take me about 675 days, at this pace, but ohh well! 😛

they have a hammock, a sleeping sack, a sleeping bed, a little igloo and some toys inside.
