so, today was my second day at work. it went pretty well. it feels really good to actually be at a large scale operations again. the pit is huge, and expanding more, new pits are coming online, its all really great and interesting work. and everyone i met so far has been really nice.

so anyways, today we got the pit tour, so here are some of my favorite pictures.

so, yesterday was my first day at my new job, with quadra mining. what did i do on this first day?

i woke up at 3:45am for a 5:45am flight to salt lake city, followed by a 3h drive to ely, nevada!

so overall, a pretty exciting first day. we did just a lot of introductions yesterday, to meet everyone. today were going to do the pit tour. then, the schedule for the rest of the week is wednesday we fly to phoenix, and drive to globe.
