well, were back in canada now. we got back on friday, and the dust is starting to settle. i started the gigantic task of starting to upload pictures to flickr last night.

i have sorted them by sets of who took the pictures. when i get the other half of everyones pictures, i will add them to that set. for now, if you wish to download any individual pictures, go ahead! theres lots and lots to go thru!

So, noa and i have been in israel since monday, my parents arrived on tue, and basically, we have been hitting the beach. i dont think my parents quite realized what we meant by, tel aviv is by the ocean, so, they were not prepared for its awesomeness. they basically have a 5 min walk to nice sandy beaches, where you can order food, bring drinks, and have fun!

so anyways, i digress. fast forward to last night, the girls got it, lucky, marissa and 80, followed closely by claire. then the guys and girl arrived, dan, rafer, eric, and amber. so, we met them all at 9 in the evening, at their apartment, since they are all in the same place. we got some beer, had a beer tasting, and ate humus and pita! w00t!!

so, this morning, we organized to meet at the beach with my parents. we all met up, and halfway thru the day rob and leander joined us too, from brussels. were just missing 1 more person, satu, and everyone of our friends is here who was going to come! anyways, we had an awesome time at the beach. drinking beers, playing durak and volley ball, and plenty of sun tanning. i dont know if anyone got burned yet or not.

tomorrow is the big jerusalem tour, staring in the morning, and tonight is the big “rehearsal” dinner with everyone from out of town. so the festivities are really starting to pick up now!

Well, i left work friday before noon, because i had a bunch of things to take care of. i picked up everything i needed, and cleaned up the house. then i packed, and let yogurt and ginger run around one last time with me. speaking of those squeaker (well, actually, ferrets dont squeak, but anyways), david and george and rhea have kindly agreed to babysit them for 2 weeks, and then to drop them off at the vet for boarding for 2 weeks.

so, around 4:30 dan picked me up, and dropped me off at the airport. basically had no line, and got right to the gate to wait. boarded and left on time. luckily, the airplane was sort of empty, so i had no one next to me, which was really nice. i fell right asleep, woke up for dinner, went back to sleep, and woke up for breakfast more or less.

got out of the airport fine, noa and her dad picked me up, and we rushed straight off to buy a new DSLR for noa’s dad. we settled on a nikon D80. a really nice camera, and im looking forward on using it some in israel. anyways, so then we hit some lunch, and come home to hang out until some guests came over.

and now its evening here, and im still up somehow. i think its because i slept on the airplane. and thats about how much sleep i have been getting normally these last few weeks. so im still good.

we are leaving here on monday, so not much time in amsterdam, but its still nice to be back. more updates to come.
