What can i say about Xochimilco! its the historic part of mexico city where the original canals still exist that used to be the main way to get around the city. nowadays its a party place, where families go on the weekend to sit on a boat, eat, drink and be merry. Now I had heard a lot about this before we got there, but none of it was close to what the actual place turned out to be like. i think you need to see some pictures to really believe it.

the assault of colours, and so many boats! we quickly ordered some drinks, which are a local specialty. we each got a 750ml bottle of corona, with a big cup filled with hot sauce and sweet stuff. crazy!

what a fantastic day on the water. there was lots of food, we had lots of beer, and it was just a lot of fun running around on the boat and hanging out with people in the sun. plus did i mention it was nice and warm that day! another great mexico city experience!
