The last day in rome, we really only had a half day. i think we had to leave some time in the afternoon in order to catch our flight back to Tel Aviv. We started at the spanish stairs, which i climbed to also take some pictures from above

then since i had never seen the colosseum, noa and i decided to venture off on our own and have a look at the outside of it.

this is the Circus Maximus. what a great find in such a busy city. just a big grass field. i think for sure one of my highlights of the trip.

and then it was off to one more lunch before heading to the airport. Noa remembered our tour guide told us of a good place, so off we went for our final meal. and it was, guess what. Also tasty. as all food in italy seems to be. these were our desserts.

and what an epic way to end a 10 day trip in Italy. I am extremely grateful that we were able to as a whole family go on such a trip. only thing i would change is next time, relax a little bit more while there. Boy i came back exhausted from my vacation.
