Since arriving in israel, i don’t really have a lot… to do. i have things to do, ive been updaing the blog, working on permanent residence, meeting with friends and family. but this leave a lot of room in order to form new habits.
As one of my daily goals here is to appreciate being in a beach town, and at least looking at the water, i have incorporated physical exercise back into my life. The apartment we are staying in right now is about 10 min from the boardwalk along the beach. so yesterday at the crack of 9am, Noa and i went on our first run together here. she kept the pace at 2 min of running, with 1 min of walking, and i tried to keep up.
i actually managed to follow along for most of it, but the last set i was pretty beat. im proud that i actually kept up though as much as i did, after not doing anything for so long.
today was the same routine, but instead we want to some community exercise equipment, and did a workout instead.
my plan is to keep this up at least 5 times a week. if i can get it into a routine, im way more likely to stick with it once i get busier with life.
