Well, my trip up north was mostly uneventful. i spent 2 days training one of our new emplyees at site on the software we use for mine design. not very interesting and lots of talking. i did get to stay in a hotel in town this time, that was not so bad. they even opened up a dominos in town, and i was there on the opening.
so, it snowed on the friday, when i was leaving. i got up early because i had to drive out to the mine site to drop of a computer. it was so dark, and snowy, that i missed the turnoff for the mine. and this is a road ive driven quite a bit. so, i just continued on to town, and dropped the computer off at our city office.
then i continued to drive back to the 3 hour trip to the airport at 60km/h. nice and slow. the roads were so bad, because this was the first real snow, and the roads where not covered in gravel yet. god, i dont want to drive in snow anymore.
here is a picture from the airport as we were boarding the flight.
another cool thing i havent ever seen, only heard of, is deicing the wing. i was front row and center for this one.
one last cool picture, one of the pits at willow creek mine all frozen up.
