Well, Santos du monde is not landing the demoiselle very well. actually, its me just being too excited to fly, and going out even when its windy, which it pretty much is every day. ive scared myself quite a bit recently, with some huge gusts just about flipping her.
well, last saturday erik was over, so we had to go flying, and on the second flight, i landed into a cross wind again, and one wheel hit first, and crunch. its actually the second time this has happend, and it was to the same wheel, so, no surprise there.
Anyways, some of my super super glue, and i was back out there flying today, in the gusty wind!
Hey Andrew,
I hope all is well with you. Congratulations on building and flying the Demoiselle! It’s a beautiful little airplane, but I can see how it would be suited for flying only on days with no wind at all.
I recently joined a flying club and got two models out of the basement and all tuned up. My job has me part time in Michigan and part time in Indianapolis, so I joined a club down here in Indy. When I’m home, I spend pretty much all of my free time playing with my horse, Buster.
Take care. I’ll check back for more updates. Regards to Erik.
Love,
Tom
