So, after a week of having my brain fried by the hot mauritian sun, i finally managed to get to where they have a wireless hotspot, and to check my e-mail.
im just posting a quick blurb, as im flying out tomorrow morning, on an 8am flight. its going to take us about 1.5-2 hours to get to the airport, which, consequently, it is the same amount of time it takes to get from anywhere to the opposite side of the island too.
i got burned the first day, sunbathed a lot, learned how to waterski, went on a lot of sightseeing, saw the most tortises i have ever seen in my life, and also managed to corrupt a card for my digital camera, so i seem to have lost the first 4 days of pictures!!!! 
i may still be able to get them back, but it looks bleak.
ill upload 2 quick pictures, a view of the resort from the waterski boat.. and me waterskiing.
once i get back to amsterdam, im staying tops 1 to 2 days, then im off to germany with my father. ill try to post as much as i can before then.
