We got max soon after moving to arizona for the first time. he was such a small puppy, and the pick of the litter. the first night my dad had to sleep next to him in the laundry room because he wouldn’t stop crying. All my memories of growing up included him, he has been with us more than half of my life. He moved to amsterdam, and learned dutch with the rest of us. Mostly so he could talk to the groomer and the local ducks. He vacationed one winter in michigan at my grandparents, bounding through the snow when it was too deep for him. at more than fourteen years old, he has seen and visited more places than many people and lived a long and healthy life. im glad that he lived out his retirement in arizona, where he was born.
ill will miss you max, and wish you all the best hunting ducks through the ages.
God Bless Maxie! He was such a good boy, and had a fantastic life. I’ll look forward to seeing him at the Rainbow Bridge.
